Arrival Story:
I took Boo Boo kitty to the Vet's office and while we were waiting this woman came in with a basket of puppies and a large dog that looked just like a wolf, but the dog was leading on a leash with ease. I ask her if this dog was a wolf and she explained that the mother was a hybrid wolf and the puppies were free. A Red Heeler visited her yard and bred with the mother Hybrid, and she didn't want the puppies. I looked in the basket and Tala popped up and we became instant friends. She was so cute and roly poly with very pretty eyes.

Bio:
She is the most hyperactive dog we have ever had here. She has to run and is not happy unless she is running and playing. She loves to play ball and is good at it.

Big Screen, Wide Screen, High Definition

We turn them on
and they do us wrong.
People coming through the big screens in our homes,
and warming up those big screens are taking too long.
Full screen, wide screen, high definition,
sucking our brains out their only mission.
Billionaires using the Plastic People of the Press,
their agenda turning into a mess.
They report the news like hornets
swarming a nest,
brainwashing the people their only quest.
BIG SCREEN, WIDE SCREEN, HIGH DEFINITION
the media are telling their lies on our televisions.
Plastic People poisoning our thoughts,
they don't care who acts Presidential,
brainwashing the people is merely financial,
the Plastic People on our evening news will
make up his credentials.
Attacking the faithful and bringing down our Nation
will be their conviction.
BIG SCREEN, WIDE SCREEN, HIGH DEFINITION
bringing down our GREAT NATION will be THEIR CONVICTION.

I'm Tala The Water Moccasin Hunter

A Big Stinky Snake

Water Moccasins are very bad here in Texas where I live. Some of you doggies may not know exactly what a Water Moccasin is, but it's a big poisonous snake. It's most poisonous and can kill humans if it bites them.
I know this and I sense the danger for my family when I see one around.

I was out in my own back yard today when a long Water Moccasin come into my yard. I started barking and Miss Bear was barking too, but being a much older dog Miss Bear knows that this snake is harmful and she stays her distance from the snake, but not me, I'm a fighter and a snake hunter. I run straight to it and grabbed it in my mouth and I killed it.

I decided right away I better go show my Mom that I saved her from this big monster snake. I picked it up and took it straight to the back patio and started barking for my Mom to come out. My Mom had no idea that I killed it and she almost hurt herself running from a dead snake, if I remember right she was calling God! She was saying "OH MY God, OH God" and running over patio furniture to get away from the dead snake I had placed right on our back patio for her.
I didn't mean to frighten my Mom so bad, I thought she should see what a terrible killer had been slithering around in our yard. She needed to see the danger that she could have come into contact with, but little did I know she was capable of hurting herself from the sight of the thing! Running over the patio chair and standing on the porch swing screaming, and as I watched her doing this I was scared too, she scared me! I didn't know what was wrong!
I jumped back, what, what, and then I realized she is screaming over the dead thing, and I started to snicker a doggy laugh....Poor Mom, I then realized she is even afraid of a dead snake, and she doesn't have enough common sense to realize it's dead and can't hurt her.
Once she realized it was dead she walked way away from it, still afraid of it and called for me to come, so I come a running and she's saying 'are you bit, are you bit', and then she told me the same thing Miss Bear Bear told me that I shouldn't chase poisonous snakes.

Who is going to save her if I don't? My Daddy wasn't even home! I had to save her!
Guess who got all the love in the world today and plenty of snacks, you guessed it right I bet, yes I did!

Did you know that the Water Moccasin Snakes stink? No, really, they stink like some kind of nasty odor. Mom had to pick it up with a shovel and throw it in the woods, and she made sure the belly was down, because she said if a dead snake lays with it's belly up than it's going to rain.

love, Tala

A Cherokee Story Of Two Wolves

What a great story to pass on to our kids and a lesson to be learned by us all.

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a
battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two
"wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret,
greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority,
lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity,
humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." author unknown
