Arrival Story:
We were going into an Alberton's grocery store in Blythe, CA. and these two little boys were trying to give away their puppies. They told us she would be small because the mother was a Lhasa Apso, and the father was a Shitzu. Well, she's a medium sized dog, and the vet said she was a Bearded Collie. Anyway, we told them no, sadly and went inside. When we came back out, we heard whimpering coming from the Crystal water machine and inside was this tiny little puppy. We couldn't do anything else, but take her home.

Miss Lucye Passed Away

Miss Lucye had a mammary tumor that consumed her entire belly area from early June until her passing on July 1, 2008. The decision to euthanize Lucye was a difficult and painful one, but one that had to be considered as maturely as possible. Dr. Ryan made our last few moments together as serene and quiet as possible and I thank her for that!

Lucye was a wonderful, wonderful, girl. More than just a dog. She was everyone's friend! I loved her, and will continue loving and cherishing her memory for as long as I live. Her animal family is not the same without her.

WE LOVE YOU, LUCYE!!! R.I.P.

Wow! I'm 84 dog years old today! But I feel like I'm 21, lately! I've been playing and very active. The cold is bothering me a little, but my human mom lets me cuddle with her and it's all good!!

Happy Birthday to all who share it and have a wonderful New Year!
