I NEED SURGERY!!!

So a few weeks ago my knees started hurting really bad!! It got worse and worse, so I went to the doctors. The vet gave me medicine to help with the pain and stuff, but she says I really need surgery!! My family can't afford to get this done! She said it would be about $10000. So, if any of you have any information about resources to help pay for this surgery, please send a message my way!!

Jelly Fish

So, my husband and I were talking the other day. I was commenting on how spoiled our baby Sasha is! ;) Not that I mind that. My husband turns to me and tells me this really short story about a little boy and a jelly fish. Maybe some of you have heard it. I'm not sure where he heard it. -
One day a bunch of Jelly Fish washed up on the shore of a beach. This little boy went to one of the jelly fish, and put it back in to the ocean. An old man noticed this, and asked him why. Why did he throw this jelly fish back in to the ocean. He pointed out the beach full of the other jelly fish. The old man said "Why does it matter? It's just one. Just one jelly fish. It won't make a difference." The little boy turned to him and said "It matters to that one. It makes a difference to that one jelly fish." When others on the beach noticed what he had done, they followed suit. Many people started putting jelly fish back in to the ocean. Soon, all those jelly fish on that beach were put back in to the ocean. The old man was astounded, and taken aback at the wisdom of this young boy.
- The moral of this story---- It does matter to that one "jelly fish" . Caring in any way you can, DOES make a difference. To any animals. If we all work together, do our part, many will be saved! I know a bit corny, but I thought it was neat!

My best friend Keela!

Just wanted to share some new photos of me and my BEST FRIEND Keela!! Isn't she SO pretty!! She's a bit smaller than me, even though we're about the same age! That's why mom and dad think I'm mixed with lab. Because I'm so much taller and bigger than my best friend Keela who is full Pit Bull. Keela lives with my mommies cousin. So she comes to visit me a lot! And we just play and play and play. Boy am I tired when she leaves!!

I AM SOOO SPOILED!!

That's what mom says! Just because they cover me up with blankies, give me treats, rub my belly on command, and give me tons of kisses!! That's what dogs are supposed to be treated like, is what I think!! I am the princess of my house. I LOVE my daddy! I follow him around because he is the BEST thing EVER!! AND he takes me LOTS of places. My mom thinks it's funny because she is the one who feeds me and takes me out in the middle of the night to do my business. I think she's jealous. But NO one is as cool as my daddy!!

Just sayin hello

Nothing new has been going on. I've been getting more comfortable with my family. I sleep with mommy and daddy at night. Hee hee! Until daddy's alarm goes off at 5am!! Jeesh. Then I head out to the living room because that thing is ANNOYING, and daddy hits the snooze like 5 times!!
I've been digging holes in the backyard. Not because i'm bad though, but because that dang gopher is driving me nuts. One day i'm gonna catch it. Mommy spent hours refilling all the holes the other day. I had a lot of fun sitting in the sun watching her.
I also got the laundry detergent from the high shelf in the garage. My mom thinks I climbed. I just jump really high though. It was ALL over the garage floor when she got home. Did you know that stuff is REALLY hard to clean up. It took mommy a long time.
I guess I've been a little naughty,but hey i'm still only about a year old. That's still a puppy. Right?

It's Raining

This rain that were getting here is GREAT! Not that I like being out in the rain or anything, but I do LOVE that mud it makes!! Yesseree!!! Mommy took me out in the backyard yesterday, and I had a zoomy in that mud. SOOOO fun. I don't think mommy was too happy about it though. She took forever drying me off before she would let me back in the house. I could tell she wasn't too happy, so I stayed real still while she wiped me off. Then when daddy got home I had to have a bath. Then I wasn't happy. But now mommy says I smell really good, and I'm super soft. Mommy and daddy even let me sleep right in between them last night. NICE!! ;)

I GOT SPAYED!!!!

My tummy HURTS!!! Yesterday mommy tricked me. She got my leash out and said we were going bye bye. We went bye bye, but not to the park or the pet store. Nope, we went to doctors. Mommy took me to the nice people at the Humane Society. Last time we went, I got shots!! This time a lady took my leash and told me to sit on the scale. I weigh 61 pounds now. Then she walked me away from my mommy. I looked at mommy real sadly. Mommy looked sad too!! They put me in this cage in a room where all these other dogs were barking like crazy. I don't bark too much, so it was really freaking me out. So guess where they put me??? In the kitty room. Yep. They put me in the room with the quiet fur balls. Then I felt much better. I had my surgery, and waited in my cage in the kitty room until daddy came and got me. I was SO happy to see him, but I still feel REALLY funny!! And my tummy hurts. I've been resting quite a bit, and daddy got me a new bone and a chewy. So I've been relaxing on my bed and chewing away. I'll give you an update later on how I'm doing. Bye for now!!

A sucky week!

This week sucked! Mommy worked extra days this week. Which means, you guessed it, I'm stuck in the garage. OMG I hate that place. I cry when mommy's leaving. I hope she'll feel sorry for me and change her mind. She does come and play with me on her lunch break, and daddy gets off a few hours after that. So it's not too long. I guess...
I got into trouble at Granny's last week. I snuck through a little hole in the fence, to chase birds in the yard next door. Mommy was freaking out, and I thought it was a game. I was running around and she was yelling at me. I came back a few minutes later, but now I can't stay at Granny's until the hole in that fence is fixed. I'm an "escape artist" mommy calls me. I just want to have fun!!

Granny's House

Today I go to Granny's house. I usually do that when mommy and daddy work on the weekends. I get babysat along with my two human sisters. I think it is awesome, because even though my backyard is fun, Granny's backyard is HUGE!! Like, big enough for another house. SO FUN!! My sisters throw the tennis ball all day, and I chase it. Then my sisters swing in the hammock while I lay in the shade. It's great because when mommy's not watching me, daddy is, and if he's not, I go to Granny's! YAY!! Except for Mondays. Everyone works. I have to stay in the garage all day, but mommy comes at lunch and we play in the backyard for a bit. Mondays are usually the days I get into something because I am BORED!! Trouble!!!
