A Very Sad Day for Buddy's Family

On Monday, March 12, 2007, Buddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is now running and playing with his friends. He was very old and though his heart was strong, his body started to shut down. When he couldn't eat anymore, we decided it was time to help him cross the Bridge and see his Aire brother Sampson. In my heart I know he is running and playing with his friends. I loved him with all my heart and I will m iss him for a long long time. His sister Maggie is lonely without him, too. Thank you to the Dogster family for all your kinds words of sympathy. You have helped us more then you know.

Hooray! Maggie and I are going on vacation Friday! Mom and Dad are going to New York, so Magg's and I are off to boarding school. It's better then a kennel, and they walk us and have play time every day. I'm going to ask if Maggie can be next to me or across the aisle from me, so she won't be scared. Maggie has only been my sister for six weeks. Mom and Dad got her from Airedale Rescue. She is cute, but does she ever bark! If she can see me, then she won't be lonely. As soon as Mom finds the cable for her camera, her picture will be on my Dogster page, too.

Today is my human's birthday, and my Aire sister Maggie and I made him a card all by ourselves. All right, mom helped a little bit. We don't have thumbs, so it was hard to get the card in the envelope. But we helped lick the envelope!! Mom and dad went for a ride this afternoon, so I got to do my favorite thing. I curled up on my pillow by the kitchen fireplace and took a long nap. I heard mom say there may be some steak scraps for us tonight if we are good. I can be really really good if food is involved.
