Since I last wrote, lots and lots has happened. Went to Virginia Beach in February - it was a quick trip, but I got to see Cheasapeake Bay! In March I went to Tallahassee to see my cousin and then to Pensacola to see my uncle Buz. Then I stayed home for a while and then Mom had to go to Youngstown for a bowling tournament, so I went with her and got to meet some 2nd cousins. That was lots of fun and I really liked them! I even stayed in their house all by myself and didn't destroy anything! In July I went with Mom to a farm a couple of hours away from home. We went in a different car with a lady I'd only seen once or twice and she had three other dogs in the car with me. Interesting. Anyway, I stayed in my crate at the farm and watched the other dogs go into a fenced area with some odd looking animals. I later learned they were sheep. I got to go in there, too, only I was on my leash. I watched the sheep and they watched me. There were a whole bunch of them and I think I'm supposed to move them around. I heard Mom say that she's going to schedule a herding instinct test for me (whatever that is). The day after the farm visit, we got in the car again and went to Florida. Mom was sad because my Uncle Buz passed away. When we got to his house I looked and looked for him, but he wasn't there. He and I were getting along so good and I liked him a lot (he always had treats for me). I'm going to miss him.
That's it for now. I'll let everybody know how the herding thing goes.

I'm Back!

Yes, I'm back. I went to Florida again with my Mom - we visited my uncle and my cousin and her dog - a poodle. Got to go to a dog park where I met another Sheltie! This guy was huge - I thought I was big, but boy, he was bigger than me, but very nice. There were only a few dogs there and we played and played! I also got to go to the beach, but, I didn't really like it. The wind was blowing something awful and the water kept rushing up toward me, so I had to back up. The sand was pretty cool though. I heard Mom say we were going back next month!! Yeah!

Boy, I sure don't know where I am! Seems like I've been away from home for a very long time. Mom put me in the car and we drove and drove and drove. When we finally stopped we went into a big building with lots of little rooms and pretty soon my favorite cousin came in! I was so glad to see Hayley that I couldn't stop jumping on her and licking her face! Then we went to the place where she lives and there was another dog there - some black dog with real curly hair (I think they call it a Poodle). Anyway, he was ok. Hayley and Mom took us to a lake and we walked all the way around it - there were many dogs but Louis and I kept to ourselves. I had a really good time!!
