as my last diary entry read, I havent been feeling so good. We were due to visit the dogtor again yesterday and mom looked pretty worried. I could hardly get around, and kept falling down every few feet; I was using the walls and furniture to prop myself up, and I had vomited a couple of meals.
The dogtor took one look at me and shook her head sadly. She told mom that my kidney disease probably involved polyneuropathy now. We all looked at each other, I leaned on the wall and closed my eyes.
It was the right day to go to the Bridge, the dogtor gave me a pill to help me relax and while we waited for it to take effect, mom and I went outside to a nice shady spot with thick green grass; we put down a mat and had a little picnic--I ate a lot of liver treats, and we sipped cool water while we talked about our lives together these past two years. After a little more than an hour I was quite relaxed and mom carried me into the dogtor's family room for the final injection---I slipped away peacefully, it was all very easy and we have a nice memory of our last picnic together.
Our human grandma passed this week too, leaving her little boy poodle Lucky. He'll post details in his diary. Maybe grandma and I can look after each other up here while my family on earth look after Lucky. I'd like that.

I havent felt too good for a while; my eyesight is so bad that if the pawrents dont carry me up and down stairs, I fall when trying to do them myself. everything is just getting to be a struggle; I hope the dogtor can help me.
my sister Virginia is slowing down too; she's a year younger than me, but she's developed some heart problems and gone deaf.
if you are reading this we'd both appreciate some POP
