I saw him on yahoo classifieds for pets and again fell in love with his sweet face. Drove 3 hours with my other Shih Tzu to pick him up. He looked like a little bumble bee with Groucho Marks eyebrows when I first had him. It snowed for the first time that year the night I got him, and he was too funny bunny hopping in the snow!

Bio:
Pepe is a mama's boy to the core and is the sweetest, most affectionate dog I've ever seen. He loves everyone! But most of all, he adores cats...an original dog is he.

Okay, so I am a bit of a Steve McQueen meets Houdini when it comes to escaping places (cars, cages, decks, houses, boats, etc.), but my mom doesn't like it when I run off. Last night we were at grandma's house and mom let me out in the front yard with her while she and grandma were planting flowers. It was what she called my "probation" period to see if I'd gotten past my running off phase...I hadn't. I ran across the street and hid behind the hose until mom came and got me. Then I stayed in the yard for a while behaving with my little brother Indy. I waited until mom looked away for a second and then I ran like the wind down the street (thank goodness it's a cult-de-sac and has no traffic) and into the neighbor's yards, through the creek and into the field where kids were playing baseball. I played too! I ran the bases with one of the kids until a lady picked me up and brought me back to my mom who was trying to get my brother Indy (who followed me...oops!) to come back too. So now mom says I'm in time out and can only be outside of the fence if I'm on a leash. Geez...I just wanted to see what was going on down there, and across the street, and around the corner...is that so wrong?!! But mom wants to keep me safe, so it's back to my pre-probation period. Sometimes you just gotta go!
