Well, lately I've been in deep thought. So this is what I've been thinking. I'm such a lucky dog. Do you wanna know why? I'll tell you anyway.

I have a home. That's it. That's why I'm lucky. Because I have a home. My mama and daddy went looking for me in the shelters. Well maybe not for ME, but for a puppy that needed a home, like I did. So when they saw me, my now mama and daddy that is, they picked me and let me come home with them. Mama said my big brown eyes and my floppy ears and my smile with my tongue hanging out made her fall in love with me. :P What can I say. I have...what's that called? Karissma. Yeah that's it! Karissma!! So anyway, for all this time since I was a young puppy I've had a warm loving home and I have plenty to eat and I have lots of love!! So I'm lucky, right?!

A lot of puppies and kitties are not lucky like me. And that makes me sad. Real sad. My mama's been thinking about volunteering (I think that's the word she used) at one of the local shelters. But her leg's all messed up right now so she has to wait until she feels better. So for now she's been getting on the internet and talking to people about getting their pets fixed (that hurts a little but that's okay) and keeping up on their shots and all that stuff. And she gives money to different animal places.

Maybe....if a lot more nice people would volunteer and give money and take care of their pets then there wouldn't be sooo many sad and hungry doggies and kitties out there, on the streets and in shelters. What do you think?
