Arrival Story:
After losing our beloved Moose, we went to the local shelter to heal our hearts by being around animals. Much to our surprise we came acrossed a little female lab that looked like she had so much love to give. After thinking about it overnight, I called the next morning and she was still available. I went right over and adopted the little precious furball. We have only had her for 2 days, but she is already found a special place in our hearts.

Well, I've been with my new family almost three weeks now. I keep going for rides in cars, and mom takes me to work once a week just to make sure I meet all kinds of people. I love meeting people. It's great for my ego. I've come to love sitting on the big plushie couch with daddy watching movies. Mom calls me a horse now, and I haven't even figured out what a giraffe was yet. I can't wait for winter to come, everyone tells me what a great time I will have playing in the snow. I guess we get alot of it here. Gotta go. Someones walking off with my stuffed bear!

Wow! I'm Tuckered Out!

I'm on my 4th day with my new family. I had no idea being a puppy was so exhausting. I have been in 3 different cars for rides, including one really big truck (you can see everything from that front seat), been to McDonald's (they just tell you how cute you are and hand you McNuggets out a little window), and on numerous walks with my daddy. I just love my daddy, he's so soft and warm and cuddley, and he's always telling me how cute I am. He calls me noodle. I wonder what that means. Anyhow......I have been running all over our house, up and down the stairs, chasing the cat. My sister, Chippy, isn't as thrilled with me as I think she should be. Can't she see how fun I am? Mom calls me Giraffe baby - I can't help it that I'm all legs. Mom says I am a really good puppy though. I hardly have any accidents and I sleep all night on my little pillow in Mom and Dad's room. Daddy says I can't get on the big bed with them, but Mom says it won't be long. I'm sure my cuteness will eventually win Daddy over - I've got him wrapped around my little paw. It's great! Mom also took me to work a few days - everybody was there just to see me. I wish I could do that all the time - so many hugs and kisses. I was so popular. Well, Daddy says there are naps to be napped, and Tv to watch so I better get to it. Bye for now. I'll save some nuggets for ya.
