   Leave a bone for Zoe

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

December 3rd 2001

Sleeping (especially in my owners king sized bed - all to myself), exploring, outdoors (in nice weather), going for walks in new areas, licking

I can be annoyed when other dogs are around but I put up with it, afraid of the vaccuum cleaner and the laundry basket

Favorite Toy:
I have a few favourite toys. One of them is my fluffy dog that squeeks (it is the size of me), and my squirel that squeeks (again, as big as me), and of course, my chewing bone.

Favorite Food:
I am on a special diet because of my IBD, so I get Natural Balance food and treats. And I love it all!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere that is new to me

Best Tricks:
I know how to: sit, lay down, roll over, sit pretty, play dead, watch me, shake paw (both paws), "up", "jump", "in the house", leave it, and gentle

Arrival Story:
This is typed by my owner, Rita. I have always wanted to get a dog, and kept bugging my mom to get one. At the time i was working part time at the local animal hospital as a kennel attendant. Unfortunatly, they let me go (I was too young, and no degree in anything - I was still in highschool). As a parting gift, they gave me a book on how to take care of dogs. I ended up reading that book pretty fast. My aunt's had a couple dogs (Shih Tzu's as well). My dad saw an add in the paper selling Shih Tzu's, so that night we went there. They had one female left. I played with her for a few minutes, then my mom said "Ok, let's get her". Needless to say, my whole family was shocked about that since we had nothing to take care of a dog (food, toys, cage, etc). We went to a pet store after we got her. The rest is history.

I have had IBD (inflamatory bowel disease) since a few months after my owners got me as a puppy. They have struggled for 4 years trying to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it. After a whole lot of vet bills, vet visits, trying different foods, etc. They have finally figured out how to get it under control. I an on a special diet from Natural Balance. And for treats I get the biscuts made with the same stuff as my food.
