Gimme that tortilla!

funny thing this morning . . . i was just so mesmerized by the tortilla that my pop's roommate was handling . . . so i jumped up and snatched it! hahahaha! it was good, but i bet a few strips of steak would make it even better! hehehe.

not much has happened. its been a while since i wrote in here coz i've been busy sleeping and relaxing. i don't sleep in my bed anymore. i snuggle up to pop at night coz he's so much warmer and has a better blanket . . . this practice actually started one night . . . pop was fast asleep . . . and i just couldn't get a comfortable enough position in my bed. i decided to check out pop's bed. i jumped up and really liked the comforter . . . so i burrowed under it . . . ahhhh . . . so soft and comfy! pop was surprised when he moved and felt me snuggled up to his side. i thought he was gonna get upset but he just hugged me and continued sleeping. since then, i've been sleeping on "my side of the bed."

Bow-wow!

I was on my afternoon walk yesterday when I saw this guy carrying a bag. I dunno what it was but I just felt like barking at him! So I barked and barked and barked and I even wanted to go up to him but then I felt a yank on my leash meaning my pop wanted me to leave it alone. So I stopped.

I think I scared the mailman coz he even took a few steps back and almost fell over a bush. When we got back to my home, I heard pop laughing and giggling! With my ears up, I just stared back at my pop wondering what he was laughing about. Then I heard him say, "you are so cliche!" The he petted me and walked away to make me dinner.

I wonder what's so cliche about barking at mail carriers . . .

holy smokes!!!!

we went to a barbecue yesterday! and MMMmmmm!!!!!! those burgers smelled good!!!! oh, and the great part about that was i met pop's brothers and cousins and friends! they're a rowdy bunch! and of course, i was working all of them as i would sit right in front of them with begging eyes hoping they'd throw me a piece of burger. most of them were nice enough to "accidentally" drop a piece of meat. but there was this one lady who was just too tough for me. turns out, she also has a dog at home and she's used to ignoring him whenever he begs for people food coz she knows they're not too good for us dogs.

it was a fun night. we took pictures, played card games and i was roaming the backyard most of the night. i also "marked" some spots to claim it. hehehehe. sorry pops, i just can't help it. i have to let everyone know that "buster was here!"
