Arrival Story:
We were fostering for Golden Rescue in Naples when Archer came to us. He was the fourth foster we'd had and we knew the minute he arrived that he was going to be our last. We adopted him officially a couple of months later, signing the papers on the 4th of July.

Bio:
Since joining us, Archer has lost his housemate and has now become the senior dog who shows the new fosters the ropes. He hasn't taken on the responsibility quite as graciously as his predecesor did but is getting used to it. UPDATE: Archer stopped eating and just wasn't doing well. We did an ultrasound on the Tuesday, diagnosing metastatic liver cancer, and he was gone on the Saturday. His last full day was such a good one, so good it gave us hope that we might have a few months with him yet, but he went downhill overnight. We spent that night cuddling, snuggling and telling him what a good boy he was, and then we went to the vet first thing in the morning and let him go. Sleep well, Sweet Prince.
