I'm not much of a walker. But I do enjoy going to the dog run, sitting outside the fence and barking at the other dogs.

Arrival Story:
Foxy was a single pup litter. Her mom was much too little to be birthin' babies. She came from a home that was owned by a former dog breeder, but had gotten older and just let the animals go. There was a lot of inbreeding and neglect. Most of the dogs were ill and Foxy was the most in need of medical attention. She was 7 weeks old, had worms and was infested with fleas. The owner was very sad, and was clinging to the dogs in the absence of her deceased husband. Happily, she gave up all but two dogs and they all went on to better lives.

Bio:
Foxy has several congenital birthdefects including, the usual luxating patellas. Her two front legs are malformed. She will likely have severe arthritis as an older dog, but for now she's not in any pain. The first few months of life were the hardest, not knowing if she would ever walk or even live. She has surpassed all our wildest dreams and become a healthy, delightful little girl. She has her own twist on running and jumping. And although she still needs help to do most things, she's very self sufficiant in her own right!
