Arrival Story:
My parents had come up to visit me in college, and I somehow conned them to going to this pet place in the middle of nowhere. & there was Sandy, sitting there among her brothers & sisters sadly looking at us while the other hopped all over her. She tried to get closer to us and just looked at us with those beautiful eyes. I almost cry when I think about her now. She really was my light & always will be. I was shocked when dad agreed to get her, he was soo against a dog at first, but I think he fell in love with her too, pus he saw all our pusses giving him the sad face. So he got her & then they drove the whole 6 1/2 hours back home with a new dog!!!

It doesn't matter how long it is, You have & will be forever in our hearts. I can cry even now thinking about how much we miss you. And even though we are very lucky and have some new additions to our puppy family, there is only one Sandy.

You were my best friend, and few can understand what a special soul you were. We swore when we looked into your eyes, we saw a spunky lil old lady looking back at us. You were so gentle and smart. You knew when we needed to hug you and knew when we need to sob by you. You were so patient with us.

I remember you would get up in the middle of the night drag yourself off my bed to spend the rest of the night with my sis, it was like you did not want to ignore anyone.

I remember you as a pup with you hyper spurts, you dashing around the living room table flashing through the house as a burst of furry energy. Dad took awhile to get over the losing you, we all did. We all were able to open our hearts up to new lil puppies that needed a home. But if it was for what you taught us we never would have been worthy.

We love you always and forever. We know you are happy & carefree where you are, you truly deserve all the happiness in the world. We have another angel in our lives.
