Pet-Peeves: When Penny takes the bone he's been working on for HOURS! The vacuum, electric mixer, razor ~ anything that makes noise! Having his nails clipped ~ he'll growl like he's vicious to 'persuade' you to NOT clip them. Quinn (the Dog next door!)

Favorite Food: Baby carrots, Beneful (dry), Greenies, pizza crust, peanut butter, cheese...LOVES cheese! And he loves to drink of Mommy's tea. It MUST be Mommy's tea out of Mommy's cup!!
Favorite Walk: On the hill in our neighborhood where there are bunches of smells!
Best Tricks: Down, catching my ball and playing soccer, and I understand all the words that Momma and Daddy say.
Arrival Story: We were a dog family with 3 cats when we moved into our new home. We had always told our girls that we couldn't have a dog until we had a fenced yard. Three months after we moved ~ into a house WITHOUT a fenced yard ~ we decided the time had come to increase our family by four legs! One of our neighbors had a beautiful, older beagle that we adored, so we decided that a female beagle was for us! One Saturday, shortly after this well thought out decision was reached, we were in a mall area near our home and stopped to visit a collection of breeders. There he was - sitting in his water bowl - watching his siblings play! He stole our hearts! Needless to say, he wasn't a female and he wasn't a beagle, he IS the joy of our life!
Bio: Besides my sister Penny, I have 2 cat brothers, a cat sister and 2 people sisters. I had a bird sister named Jane, but she's passed away.

Mommy and Daddy took us to the lake yesterday! Penny wasn’t too thrilled about getting in the car, ‘cause she gets car sick, but we had a really good time!
Just before we got there, we saw 2 deer run across the road! They were pretty!
The first thing we did was run to the edge of the lake and Penny surprised everybody by running right in and getting her feets wet. We played there for awhile and then took a long walk along the edge of the lake.
We saw ducks and they quacked at us! Mommy thought for a minute that Penny was gonna jump in the lake to get a closer look!
There were so many smells to be smelled we ran around and around and by the time we left, our noses were full.
Right before we left, we went back to the edge of the lake…and there were the ducks ~ quacking at us again. This time Penny went into the water until her belly got wet, and everytime the ducks moved, she’d run out of the water and back in! Mommy and Daddy laughed and laughed!
Penny made it all the way back home without getting car sick again! YAY PENNY!

Hi! I’m PJ! I’m a 2-1/2 year old pure-bred (whatever that means) JRT. I came to live with my people when I was 11 weeks old.
Imagine my shock when I walked into the house and saw three – count ‘em – THREE of those furry, non-dog things…I think they call CATS! What HAD I gotten myself into!? FORTUNATELY, they had a couch I fit under perfectly, so I could hide whenever I needed to. It came in handy a lot in the early days.
I also learned, that if I barked just the right way…so that it sounded like a yelp…the cats would get away and they’d get in trouble with Momma, ‘cause she’d think they’d really hurt me!
I was an only dog for about 5 months when they got me Penny to play with! I was soooo excited to meet her! She’s my bestest friend and I love her very much. When she had to go to the vet overnight, I took her favorite pillow upstairs ‘cause I missed her so much.
I love my people too. Momma feeds us every day and on weekends sometimes makes us bacon and eggs! She takes us out in the morning and on special walks after dinner where I get to bark at all the neighbors.
Daddy plays with us …we love to play ‘trapped on the mad dog planet’ – where he throws the ball, and I have to catch it. Penny tries to steal the ball too, but mostly, ‘cause she’d rather play laser with Daddy. Emma likes to get on the floor and play ball too!
Jessi mostly likes to cuddle with us – which is great too – ‘cause cuddlin’ is one of my favorite things to do!
