Arthur's at the Bridge

Our beautiful bully friend Arthur has crossed to the Rainbow Bridge. He'd been ailing with heart troubles, but let me tell you, he had a GREAT BIG BEAUTI-BULL heart. Arthur was one of the kindest, warm and loving pups we've met here on Dogster, and his memory will be cherished. Goodbye, friend.

Wishes for a GREAT '08!!

It's been a whirlwind of a year...and I can't WAIT to see what next year brings!
I've enjoyed my second Halloween, Thanksgiving, Chanukkah and Christmas here. My face was finally repaired properly, so now I am just a healthy, happy, smiling pittie girl all the time! I've got my sibs to romp and play and nap with; I've got neighbors with dogs to play with...I've got pawrents who only want the best for me, and their friends who also dote on me! My Dogster pals are just too fantastic for words...I even get to be "Aunty Hazey" to a few! Now how cool is THAT? Me, who was bait, and treated like garbage, is now a proud Aunty!!!! And I sure do have the most gorgeous nieces and nephews!

I just want to wish all of my friends, both furred and not, a happy, healthy GREAT 08!

I LOVE this place....how good is life for a girl like me....I wind up rescued and placed into a TERRIFIC home, with pawrents who love me and dote upon me- fursibs - to run and play and snuggle with, a reasonably good typist, and SCADS of friends here on Dogster! I could bark it to the threetops (except barking pitties make people nervous!

Happy Howl-a-ween!

I am SO BLESSED!

I am the luckiest, happiest pittie on the Planet today!!!! It's my birthday/annifursary today-just a year ago I was an abused, unhappy little girl living better in a shelter than I ever had before....and now, one year later, I am a quantuum leap away from all that!!! I have parents who dote on me, siblings to play and nap and cuddle with, AND I have the most AMAZING friends here on Dogster!!! The love and friendship shared has touched me to the core; know that it means the world to me. I am sending power prayers out to pals who need them...hugs and kisses to ALL my pals...and hopes for a wonderful year ahead of us!

A lovely summer weekend

The weather was just wonderful this weekend. Mom and Dad were doing LOTS of yard work; they put in a terrific fountain (I think of it as my personal watering station!), and cleared away all the stuff along the fence separating me from Jake...so now the little guy can see me whenever he likes, and we can run the fence together. I got to have a little face time with him on Friday; he is sooo cute, but soooooo puppy hyper, and I DO hate being pounced on like that! I won't hurt him, but my size make his mom nervous, so she's extra cautious!
Buddy's birthday bash was terrific; he's such a sweet spaniel, and loads of nice pups were there to help him celebrate. It's so cool to see everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. My combo woof/gotcha day is in a couple of months...I'll try to book a party space and have a little event!
