Arrival Story:
I found him in a culvert, in the pipe under a driveway on our rural road. I thought it was a cat at first pass, darting back into the pipe. When I returned home later that day, he came out of the pipe and barked at me. Of course, I got him and took him home. Very good move, he's the most wonderful puppy!!

Bio:
Growing as you watch him, so fast. Becoming fat and shiney, and still has puppy teeth! He weighed 34 lbs at 12 weeks!

Ya'll, listen! I have found the most amazing thing; there's these..things..that run up and down trees! They're grey and have bushy tails and they are most annoying! I WANT TO CATCH ONE REAL BAD!! Just wait and see, I'm gonna do it!!


Mowing Day

Today Mom mowed the pasture, and decided to let me come along. She had a dog in the past that just loved to mow with her, he ran along side the tractor and chased field rats.
I did not like it at all! The tractor is very loud and scary. I thought the donkeys would be more fun to play with, but they ignored me. I was so freaked out I went back to the gate and waited to be let back into the dog yard. Mom came all the way back to let me in.
Maybe next time I'll feel better about it.

Today I had a rite of passage...I got neutered! My Mom picked me up from the vet's late in the afternoon, and I was fully awake. I sure was glad to see her! I was so glad to see the car, I scratched on the door to get in! I was very good in the car, I sat in front with Mom, eventhough I usually sit in the back and look out the window. Mom says she hopes I never have to spend the night away from home again! When we got home, I ran around the yard like nothing had happened to me. Mom tried to calm me down, but it felt so good to be home!
