Wuffin Good Time at Mt. Vernon Pawtee!!

WOW -- Yesterday Mom had a major surprise for me! She asked me if I wanted to go "Bye-Byes" and I just ran to the door! (I just love going anywhere in the car!) My family ended up taking me to Mt. Vernon for a Pawtee in George's back yard! Wow, it was great -- all you can eat Red Hot and Blue Chicken and BBQ along with plenty of water and Ice Cream! Boy was that a nice dinner for a change! After we ate, Mom took me for a nice long walk all around Mt. Vernon. I got to go to George's vegetable garden along with his formal flower garden. I even got to meet some sheep who seemed to really like me a lot! Boy, I just strutted my stuff all around Mt. Vernon and thought I was IT!!! Later, Mom and I danced to the DJ's music on George's lawn. Boy, was I getting the looks but I just wiggled my butt everywhere! We had a blast and, of course, met lots of great people who just LOVED ME!!!!

Once I got in the car to go home, I just passed out! I never knew how tiring it was to be a "Pawtee Animal!" Mom says I was the most tired she had ever seen me! I hope Mom takes me to another Pawtee at Mt. Vernon -- it was the best!!!

I Just Asked Sofia to Marry Me and She Said Yes!!!

Dear Diary,

Well, I've had my eye on Sofia since she and I were 6 months old and I figure now that we are now 1 1/2, I should start getting ready to settle down. Sofia is the most beautiful Westie Girl in the World and it was Love at First Sight I tell ya!

Well now Dogster has these really cool new gifts you can give and once I saw that Engagement Ring, I knew I had to make my move! I sent Sofia the Engagement Ring and Proposed to her and she said Yes! Arrrrrrrooooo!!!!

I am one Happy Westie Boy!!!!

The only problem is we still have to meet in Dogson. She lives in New York and I'm in Viriginia. Maybe next Spring or Summer we can meet and set our Wedding Day! Will Keep You Posted!!!!

My Summer Vacation to Outer Barks, NC

I had the bestest vacation ever! Normally, my family would go to Bethany Beach every summer, but this year was different cuz of me! They don't allow pups there, so my parents found a great pet-friendly house in Outer Barks, NC and I go to go!!! It was all about me Mom says! I love to travel and did just great in my crate on the way there. I got to go to the Beach for the first time ever! I liked the sand a lot, but got confused when I had to potty, as there was no grass! I like the ocean just on my little feet -- it feels good!

I also got to go swimming for the first time in the pool. Mommie put my life jacket on me and it was like I already knew what to do! The best part was lounging on my beach towel on the deck basking in the sun! I just love to lay in the sun!

My parents also took me to a Doggie "Yappy Hour" in Duck, NC. I got to meet new pals, had great treats, even a peanut butter daquiri! I also got to make my own Pawcasso artwork! That place is pawsome! You can see some pictures on my page.

It was the best trip ever and I feel so loved by my family!

I've Given Mom Poison Ivy!

I DIDN'T MEAN TO!

Mommy started itching last night really bad and developed a bad rash -- apparently poison ivy! It is everywhere on her arms and neck, under her neck, and right side of her face. She even has it on her bottom lip!
Interestingly, it is in all the places where she holds me and kisses me!
Mom called the vet and found out that pups can get poison ivy on their coats and pass it on to humans, as well as get poison ivy themselves!

Mom doesn't really take me into any woods so she couldn't figure out how I got it. Apparently, the vet says that on hot days you can walk by poison ivy, which can emit it's oil into the air and it can land on you or your dog! Who Knew!!?

Anyway, I have to get an emergency bath now and be checked over to make sure I don't have any rash! Keep your paws crossed for me and Mom!

MY FIRST BIRTHDAY - MARCH 24, 2007

I just turned 1 and I had the bestest First Birthday ever! I got lots of great prezzies from my family like, a Babble Ball, a new Fuzzy Loofa Dog (which I managed to de-stuff in 20 minutes), a new Squeeky Plush Octapus, a Stuffed Squeeky Present, and a Birthday Bandana. Napoleon, Jasmine, and Corey got me an IQ Cube and Furby got me a Musical Birthday Cake toy! I played and played with all my new toys all day! My family made me a nice dinner and then I got to have a Frosty Paw treat for dessert!

My pals from Westies Unite sent me Stars, Rosettes, Well-Wishes, made Special Pictures and Even Wrote me a Poem! They really know how to make a pup feel special!

Then at night I had my First Ever Barkday Pawtee on Westies Unite where I played "Pin the Tail on Attie," (he's my good pal)! We also played Twister too! My girl Sofia came too with her brother Wex and we had a great time playing with lots of pals on Westies Unite! They are the best pals in the world and I am a very lucky pup!

My First Haircut!

Dear Diary,

Last Saturday, I had my first Westie clipper-cut! I had no idea Mommie was taking me to the groomers so I was very happy to go for my car ride. It was kinda weird that Mommie just dropped me off and there I was getting a bath and getting groomed with this very nice lady Ms. Janis. Ms. Janis likes me a lot and I even let her trim my nails (I won't even let Mommie do that!) I was there for 4 hours and when Mommie came back to pick me up, she didn't even recognize me! I was jumping up and down trying to get her attention, but because I didn't have my collar back on yet, Mommie wasn't sure if it was me or not! Finally, she looked at me as I was wuffing at her and she said, "It is You Cooper!" She immediately picked me up and gave me lots of kisses and told me how handsome I looked. I gave Ms. Janis a kiss goodbye til my next visit and got to go home. The best surpise was when I got home, my family bought me 2 new toys! I got a "Hide-a-Squirrel" toy and a Pink Pig that Oinks! I had so much fun with my new toys! So, I guess going to the grommer isn't so bad afterall!
