Arrival Story:
My nana was quite ill in the hospital, and Mommy was driving from Columbus to Springfield almost every day. One night she was feeling claustrophobic and needed to get out of the hospital, so she went for a drive. Mommy was cruising along when she saw a sign that read "free puppies." So she screeched to a halt, telling herself "I'll just look and have some good puppy therapy." Well, all the pups were so teeny, and there was one little girl that was a bit darker, and a bit more wee than the others. That was me!! She ended up going back for me that night before heading home to Columbus, and she's been in love with me ever since.
Bio:
Ma and Pa dog were nowhere in sight when I found Dorothy, and after adopting her and taking her to the vet I found out she had been taken away from her mom too early. She needed to be liquid fed for a while, and she was so tiny she fit in the palm of my hand. She loves swimming but hates the bath, loves the hose but hates the rain, and will chase any light or reflection that crosses her path.
**I lost Dorothy on 10/02/08, and I will miss her forever. Thank you for being my best friend, D
