His ample supply of toys and play fighting with his big sister and brothers

Trying to kiss him while he's trying to kiss you. And small kids who want to hug the cute Teddy Bear.

Favorite Toy:
All of them, but the Busy Bee is tops.

Favorite Food:
Chicken wings! They're crunchable! Chicken, chicken, ckicken...anything chicken.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere I am with him. We walk around our small town every day for potty /poop. All the locals know him and have treats for him.

Best Tricks:
He dances on two legs for treats, and sleeps on his back, legs apart. He is an uncanny alarm clock. He kisses me awake every morning between 7:30 and 8:00. He seems to know if I'll need more time that morning and start earlier.

Arrival Story:
After losing our 17 year old Yorkie, Brandon, we were devastated. After an appropriate amount of time, we started looking for another little doggie soul to come live with us. We searched over 20 rescue sites. When we came upon Mickey's (the way his name was spelled then) photo. He jumped through the cyber waves and tugged at our hearts. I flew to Houston to get him and flew back to the S.F. bay area. He was so brave on the flight. All the flight attendants loved him, and even let us go to the back row, where Mikki had his own seat...and more attention than he ever had before, as they seated us by the bathrooms. In the past 2 years he has become the official greeter at my optical store, garnering as much love as possible from every person he meets. They all say they want to take him home. Quite a change from the almost autistic, fearful pup he was when we found him. He now knows how to play fetch, keep away and catch me if you can. His bright spirit is my inspiration each morning as he awakens me with sweet puppy kisses. He is my everything!

Yorkie Haven Rescue in League City, Texas is excellent and provides quality care and adoption services. Linda is simply the best person for this. Her soul goes out to all doggies in need. Yorkies the world over, sing (bark) her praises.

Forums Motto:
Oh Mikki, he's so fine, he blow my mind!
