Leave a bone for Miles

Nicknames: Bitty, B, Cujo, Mi-Mi, Buddy, Big one, Button

Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: October 15th 2003
Likes: Miles is a huge fan of flip flops. He also likes pretending that he's doing something that needs to be rewarded. Sunning on the porch. Hiding in his favorite spot (under the bed). People watching through the window in the front room.

Pet-Peeves: The flip flop playing too roughly, rain (who wants to walk on wet grass?), not having proper stretching room when he's asleep.

Favorite Toy: As he's gotten older - he's stopped playing with his toys. He prefers my arm, flip flops, sticks and occasionally Penny.

Favorite Food: Anything that can be consumed by humans.

Favorite Walk: The park by our house.

Best Tricks: He does the sexy puppy stretch move that's adorable. He's also been known to have treats on each paw though it doesn't last long.

Arrival Story: I met Miles at the pet store. I wasn't planning on buying a dog. However when the tiny ball of fur crawled in my sleeve, I couldn't resist him.

Dad was a little sad today and Mom finally decided to tell us why.
Mom, Penny, and I are most likely moving to Colorado. I knew moving in with Dad was a temporary thing - but I didn't realize summer would get here so fast. I don't think Mom did either. She's been running around frantically doing laundry and packing because she is going to Denver tomorrow for something she calls an "interview". Apparently, it doesn't consist of Mom's potential boss and Mom sniffing eachother.
Why are humans so complicated?
Mom says we will like Denver. She promises that we will still have a yard and that although there will be more snow than we've ever seen - it will be okay. Perhaps I can get some of those nice boots I've heard about.
She also told us about dog parks. A place where we can go meet lots of other dogs and run around without a leash and have a great time. We've never seen such a wonderful place here in Lubbock.
She said we might even get to go backpacking and hiking this summer as long as I work on not wanting to run away when I'm off leash.
I'm going to miss Mom when she's gone ... but we'll get to spend lots of time with Dad and that makes it okay. I'm also going to start using this blog thing more often. I know Dad will want to hear about all of my great new adventures if we move to Colorado.

I refuse to get rid of it. I got an awesome bandana when I was in Katy. It's red and it has snowmen on it. Mom and Dad think that it's getting kind of gross and needs to be washed but I won't let them touch it. I think I look quite handsome in the color red.
It was really nice outside today - Mom said we better take advantage of it because it's supposed to get cold tonight and it might even snow! We also met our neighbors. They are schnauzers and they are named Marley and Harley. They escaped from their yard when their mom was taking out the trash. They didn't seem to like us very much. Oh well. Maybe next time they'll be more friendly.

As Penny mentioned - we've moved. Again.
I'm ready for mom to finish school and get settled somewhere permanently. Preferably a place with a nice big yard with lots of sticks for me to choose from.
The upside to this move is that mom and dad have decided that we should all live together again. We've been sleeping with mom. I hope dad isn't too jealous.
We also have another new friend living with us named Chris. He slips me bites of his food sometimes so I'm thinking this is going to be a good thing.
