Arrival Story:
We were looking for a maltese puppy and couldn't find one locally. After looking online for a while, we saw Nikko. He had the cutest face we ever saw. We fell in love and knew he was the puppy for us. He was from Arkansas so he had to be flown up to Boston. I went to pick him up at the at the airport at midnight. I sat in the waiting room and worried about how afraid he must be and wondered if he would be afraid of me. They brought me his crate and I looked in to see a tiny 2lb snow white puppy wagging his tail at me. I opened the crate and he was so happy to be out and being held. He just wiggled around giving me kisses and wagging his tail. He rode home zipped in my sweater and just stared up at me . At home he met his brother Austin who was very curious about him and very happy to see him. Nikki just growled at him. By the next day he wouldn't leave Austin alone. A year later, he is still always by his side.

Bio:
Nikko is the funniest puppy ever. He thinks he is as big as his brother Austin who is a black lab/pointer mix and tries to keep up with him. He takes things right out of Austin's mouth and they both fight over toys and bones. He loves riding in the car and being anywhere we are. He prefers kids over grownups while we are out. He goes to lots of soccer , baseball and hockey games and prefers to be on his mom's lap , but will go to others to be held or play with them on the ground.
