Favorite Walk:
Anywhere there is lots of people so that I can sow off how cute I am.

Best Tricks:
Waiting at the door for my daddy and mommy to call me out. And obeying sit and come in both English and Japanese.

Arrival Story:
My mommy says she first saw another Shiba when she was waiting for daddy in pet store. (Daddy told me that he distracted her with puppies while he went to pick up a ring for mommy. She never sounds like bells, but she does have this sparkley thing on her left paw that I am not allowed to chew). Mommy then found out all she could about Shibas (As if this face wasn't enough). Mommy and daddy decided a Shiba was a good fit for them, and once Daddy got a house and was finally allowed to have a puppy they started looking for me!! Ok, ok they looked for a Shiba that needed a good home, but we will say that they were looking for me. They tried to get a couple of other Shibas before me but they didn't work out. Then on his way home from work one day, daddy found me. I ate his shoelaces and pounced a lot. We had so much fun but mommy still lived real far away and they weren't sure if they were ready. I waited like a real good boy and sure enough mommy and daddy came to see me together a couple of weeks later. I really liked both of them and I was very excited at first and was running all over the place. Daddy did this noise that he learned on the "Dog Whisperer" and I calmed right down. We played and had a great time but they said they still had to think about it (AHHHHHH!! Sometimes mommy and daddy think to much). So I waited again, but luckily this time it was just till the next morning. And daddy came to get me and we went home.

I live with my mommy and daddy in Connecticut. I'm so glad mommy is up here now. It was really hard for them before cause we only got to be a pack on the weekends. But now mommy is with daddy and me and we're a pack all the time. Mommy told me that she lived in a nasty place that didn't allow puppies; can you even imagine such a place? We still go back to "New Jerzzee" a lot and I get to stay with mom-mom and pop-pop. I really like staying there because I get lots of treats. My Puppy Friends!!!! Since I travel and go visiting a lot, I have lots of cousins and friends in all different places. I am hoping they all get on here so you can meet them all. My grandmom and grandpop have a Great Dane named Boomer (he is hard to play pounce with but I try). I have 3 cousins: Frank a miniature Daschund who has more energy then any pup I have met and he lives with Boomer, Jersey, a mixed pup, and Dixie, a Pomeranian, who both live in Oklahoma and I hope to meet them real soon. I have gone to a party with Chance, a real big German Shepherd, and Chesney, a Cocker Spaniel/Beagle mix. Chance is great to play pounce with, although the pounce game should never be played around a pool, it will only end badly for the smaller pup (But good news Shibas can swim)!! I recently had a puppy play date with Richter and Macy, ahhhh Macy she is sooooo pretty. Richter and I are cool, but he doesn't like the pounce game. Macy is just....wonderful. I followed her everywhere on our date, I'm not sure if she likes me yet, but I think she is warming up to me.

Hey pups,

I can't believe that it has been so long since my last entry we have been so busy. I didn't even write about getting Bridgette! But you can see her page to get her story. Right now I have to tell you all about the excitement currently going on here. As you may know from Bridgette, we are staying in a hotel right now. Which is so weird, Bridgette has been all freaked out here but I love it. I can lay on my bed and see mommy and daddy no matter where they go.

Mommy keeps telling us that we are going to have so much fun on Monday. She said that on Monday we are going to finally move into our new house. I haven't seen it yet but from what I have been told it sounds awesome. It has a backyard with a fence, trees, and a great neighborhood with sidewalks that we can take long walks on. I can't wait to see it. Hopefully, the fence is enough to finally keep Bridgette from running away.

Wish us luck,

Hey pups!!!!

Ok so I need to know if you pups out there keep getting in trouble for being curious. I'll tell you what... I think it is quite wrong for mommies and daddies to have really fun interesting stuff and not let us pups smell, taste, or paw at whatever it is.

Like the other night mommy was cleaning and she put a bag on the floor under her and daddy's bed. Well, I had never seen this bag before so when she left the room I went over and to check it out. And guess what!!!It was a bag full of bouncy balls, mommy later told me that they were a special kind of bouncy balls that are called paintballs. Well, I brought some of those balls out and started chewin!!!! That is what I always do with toys. A couple of them broke though and all of the stuff inside oozed out. Mommy saw this and got real mad she said "Kuzco Drop It!". I have never seen this stuff come out of toys before it was kinda fun, but mommy didn't like at all. So she real quick ran and got towels and worked to get it away from the car-pet. She said it was lucky that the stuff had water in it and that it was light colored so it came out right away. So no harm done but I am still not play with those paintballs, I just wanted to have some fun :(

So then last night I am outside and I am in-vest-a-gate-in the yard. And you pups would not belive what I found. It was kinad like a bug but bigger and squishyer. Daddy called it a frog. But this was not like toy froggies with squeakers and stuffin. No sir!!! This thing jumped and moved around all by himself and he even turned and looked right at me. So I had fun playing the pouncing game with my new friend then I decided I wanted to check him out a little bit more. So I licked that froggy. Well it seemed like a good idea at the time...but that froggy tasted aweful!!!!!I drank a ton of water, ate some dirt, ate dinner and I could still taste that froggy. Mommy and daddy had a good laugh me rollin my tongue in my mouth all night tryin get rid of that taste. See what happens, I just wanted to explore a little and I got myself in trouble again.

So have fun explorin the world and I'll bark back at you soon.

P.S. Kissies to Macy, Richter, Sirius, Sophia, and Jada. I am so happy your daddy made it through his surj-rey ok!!!! I know you guys are takin real good care of him!!!

No More Shiba Olympics!!!!

Hey pups,

I just wanted to update you all on my injury.

Well I had my exray and the V.E.T said that I have a partially torn lig-a-mint in my knee. The good news is that I do not have to have it fixed by the V.E.T, he said something about no sur-ga-ri needed. And that seemed to make mommy and daddy real happy.

OK now the bad news. He said I had to be on restricted activity for a MONTH!!! Can you believe that?!?!?!? No long walks, No running, and Definately no shiba Olympics (In case any of you pups don't know what this is...It is when I run as fast as I can through the house/yard making quick turns and jumping over stuff. I can get going so fast that it looks like I fold my self in half). Can you imagine a whole month without any of those things?!?!? And mommy and daddy are keeping me to it, everytime I start to show signs of high energy playing they they make that shhh noise (ala dog whisperer). I calm right down cause I am a good pup but I really am not happy about this. I think maybe I'll start stealing stuff just to show mommy and daddy how annoyed I am.

But I guess they might have a point because I can already put my weight back on my hurt leg and my walk seems to be back to normal.

So thanks for keeping your paws crossed, it definately helped.

Bark at you soon,
