I spotted Mimi right away among two other chihuahuas as I walked into a pet store in January 2003 located in Greenbrook, NJ. Without hesitation, I pointed her out to the staff and they let her out. She was the cutest little thing! There was very little room to run in the designated area, but I ran up and down the enclosed isle to see how she'd react. She just hopped back and forth up and down behind me like a bunny rabbit! I was nervous and excited at the same time as I've never owned a dog and had no experience in handling one. Indeed she is my first dog and could not imagine not having her in my life!
