Arrival Story:
I was adopted and returned six times at an animal shelter in Southern California, mainly because I was a high energy puppy. I was going to be euthanized because I was labeled "unadoptable" by the shelter, but my luck changed at the last minute. My foster mom took me home to give me one last chance, and she introduced me to my daddy and mommy. Mommy insisted that I come home to live with her. Daddy wasn't so sure. I spent a weekend with Daddy alone and survived, so they let me stay! Now I'm a happy, well-adjusted doggie and I know lots of tricks. ******Props to my foster mom for seeing my potential!!!

Bio:
**************I survived a harrowing horse attack in 2002. A cranky old Quarter Horse named Doc chased me and ran over me, stepping on my back leg. No broken bones, but I was hurt and shook up. Fortunately, my daddy, mommy, AND my foster mom were there to save me. It took about a month to recover, and you can bet I don't trust horses anymore! ************** In 2003, I went camping and learned to swim for the first time. It was scary for a little dog! On that trip, I earned my Wilderness Dog Certification and the following merit badges: Swimming, Bambi Observing, Scary Bridge Crossing, and Walking in the Wilderness While Being Surrounded by Scary Predators. (Look closely and you can see me crossing the Scary Bridge just behind my dad in the photo at lower left. It's a rickety old bridge and a 20-foot drop to the water below!)
