Arrival Story: we adopted porter nearly a month ago from the glendale humane society. before the humane society he was at the pound. they liked him so much there that they kept him for a month even though no one wanted him. normally they euthanize dogs after a week or so. he got lucky! slowly but surely he has been coming out of his shell. he is goofy and spazzy and likes to rest on the couch. yesterday he started eating a bone for the first time and he sometimes plays really hard with other dogs. he is blossoming before our eyes.
