Best Tricks:
Intense eye-contact. "Stwetching" on command...Very selective kisses. Modeling. Brutus had a huge vocabulary, like "go around", "other side", "excuse me", "other paw", etc.

Arrival Story:
I found Brutus and his 10 siblings at a run down home owned by senior citizens who could not care for the mother dog or puppies. Brutus' mother was tied to a post and couldn't reach her puppies - who were only 4 weeks old. They were wandering around the yard in the snow and rain. The owner was feeding the puppies and mother dog compost, and they were all sick. The lady let me take all the babies and get them medical care. I found them homes and kept the biggest boy, Brutus.

Bio:
Brutus passed away of thyroid cancer in September 2003, just shy of his 12th birthday. He is so missed and so loved by so many. He was a big, beatiful guardian angel & protector until the very end. He had such a strong presence, and all people were immediately drawn to him. He loved flowers and butterflies.
