My Tail of Devotion for Angel

Angel was found as a stray, and then adopted by the finders. Soon the finders found her to be a "wanderer" and had no way of keeping her confined, so they turned her into SouthWest Washington Humane Society. There Angel sat until she was transfered for a second chance to the Oregon Humane Society. At the time I was looking for a submissive dog who would get a long with my current, old, dominant female. They hit it off, had a few arguments, but worked it out so that Angel could stay with me. Angel was great, she went everywhere with me, to work, to the store, she was great. Angel being spayed at eight months never had a litter, but had very strong mothering instincts. Being the animal lover I am, Angel has helped me raise litter after litter of orphaned kittens, and has helped disapline orphaned puppies they way their mother would have. Not long after I got Angel, her friend died, and she was alone and had more time to herself to figure ways out of the yard or the house. Angel loves people, every chance she would get she would break out to say hi.. or jump in your car for a ride. She has been to 4 different shelters as a stray and the fees to redeem her were getting out of control. I got her a friend.. Ely.. a 3 year old German Shepard whose owner passed away. Things went well durring the adjustment time.. Then they both got comfortable and started plotting together. First licking, breaking, and eatting the dirty dishes out of the sink. Then standing on the counters to get to the top of the fridge and cupboards, then opening the cupboards to get to the human foods. Once Ely got into 5 pounds of flour, Angel said that was it and broke out through the window. After a phone call at work and a 2 hour drive to get her out of jail I had enough with these two. Only thing left to try was the D.A.P diffuser. I plugged it in on my days off.. when I was home with the dogs, and when I returned from work after the 3rd day of the diffuser, Ely didnt jump on me and Angel hadn't gotten into anything! We were all saved. One month later the Diffuser is out of juice, so I come home from work with the new bottle in my hand to find they had broken through the upstairs window and were sunbathing on the ROOF! I now have an over stock of D.A.P ready for when one bottle runs out.
