new dog house

Our human daddy died 6 months ago on June 18, 2011.
Since that time, mom found us a new dog house to live in and we let her live there too. It is a brick house and she has a place to put her vehicle that she drives to work. We have a new big fenced yard to play in to keep us safe from the cars and any other dogs that come thru our area.
We are happy here and maybe mom will post some pictures of the new house soon.

sharing my mommy

Ugh! We have a four legged house guest and she has the audasity to fuss at me for getting into my mommy's lap. But mom dumped her out of her lap and picked me up for some snuggle time. We all have to share and sometimes i want to get grumpy at sharing mommy's lap too but i relent and we all get along together.

a cold winter

It sure has been cold this winter.
Being a mini dachshund, i love to snuggle under the covers but i sure have hated coming out to do stuff like go potty outside and eat my meals. I prefer to be under the covers no matter what is going on.
At least i get to snuggle under the blankies with the humans at night.

discovered why i have been sick

Mom had taken me to the vet lady since i have been sick some on the past few weeks. Mom realized that anytime i would eat a treat out of this plastic container that mom used for storing the treats, i would get sick. So mom threw out those nasty treats even tho all the other doggies didnt get sick. It is a good thing as mom doesnt want any of us babies being sick for any reason.

Yuck to the medicines

I am so tired of my mommy poking medicines down my throat. I tried to disagree with her tonight but she got the best of me and i relented and took my medicine. It is abuse i tell you to have to take such things.
I will think about staying out of whatever i got into now that i am going thru this. Yuck, Willie

I am home now

I came back home last night from the vet lady. I feel much better than i did over the weekend. Mom and the vet lady dont know why i got sick and i am not telling.
but it is good to be home now. I slept with mommy most of the night but did give dad some snuggle time too.
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!! I am happy to be home. Willie

Well, i am still at the vet tonight. Mom came by to see me but told me i had to stay here so the vet lady could give me medicines tomorrow. So hopefully i will come home tomorrow afternoon.
The vet lady still doesnt know why i got sick and i am not telling.

I am at the vet lady's place now

Mom took me to the vet lady's place this morning. The vet lady asked if i had had any table scraps or had i gotten into the garbage can. We know i dont get table scraps. That is a no no in my house. We dont think i got into any garbage but mom did see a chewed up plastic cap on the floor of the basement but doesnt know who chewed it up. I wont tell either who did it. So please say prayers for my recovery. Thank you, Willie

I need prayers

I have been sick this weekend. I cant keep my food down and am only drinking water. My mom is taking me to the vet lady tomorrow to see what is wrong with me. I need prayes please.
