Arrival Story: After an extensive on-line and local search, I decided to buy a pug puppy from a breeder in North Carolina. Living in Pennsylvania, I knew there would be a drive, but it would be worth it. The breeder was very nice, her prices were suitable, and everything we set. After I graduation day from undergrad, we drove down to pick Pandora up. She was so tiny!!! We met mom and dad, the littermates, and neighbors. The place was small, but clean. I was satisfied. We drove the whole way back with the little dog nestled on my belly (she wined when she was in the carrier we brought.) From that moment on, she would be a mommy's girl.
Bio: Pandora loves to play with other dogs, and did quite well in puppy kindergarden. However, she is quite the hyper puppy... so Trekki, Pandora's feline roomate, wants nothing to do with her... especially because Pandora wants to play so much when she is around the cat... any ideas on getting the cat to calm down?

Why am I so special?: I am a black brindle pug, go ahead, try and find more... I like dogs that look like me!!!
That's right, I have a little sister... well, she weighs three times more than me, but she is still younger! I am much better behaved than she is, and we never really squabble over toys or food. If she wants what I have I give it to her... unless its an uber yummy meat bone.. then I have to go all crazy yappy-type dog on her and it freakes her out. I have only accidently hurt her once (I put quite a hole in her ear), but its just because I love to play with her so much! I would never hurt her over a silly bone...
I love playing chase around the house! I finally have a full time playmate that doesn't ever stop chasing me! ... maybe now I might start leaving the cats alone... probably not, they make cool noises...
Today is a good day. I woke up a bit early, dragged my blanket out of my crate, then went back to sleep. After lunch, mom laid down on the couch instead of leaving for class, and watched the noisy box for about two hours!!! How great is that??? I climbed up on her legs and slept, kicked, played "zombie dog" for a bit, dreamed of chasing that cat, cuddled with mom, and slept some more. Boy do I love it when mom is home all day to hang out!
Today mom took me for a celebratory walk for getting over my stomach bug. We walked to the big blue noisy thing, and she dropped a piece of paper in it... boy I would have loved to chew on that paper. Anyway, on the way back to our place, I decided that I didn't want to go in yet, since we hadn't been to the park. She called me, I didn't come... I wanted to go to the park! She pulled the leash, but I didn't budge... I knew how to get my way. The next time she tugged, I slipped back, out of my harness, and I was free! I started to run across the parking lot to the park, when I realized mom wasn't with me anymore. I turned to look, and she was standing there looking awfully confused and a bit frightened. I started for the park again, but she called me back.... and I paused.... should I go to the freedom of chasing butterflies and eating grass and sticks, or go back to mom and get some water and food.... FOOD... there is FOOD where mom is.... so back I ran, into mom's arms. She picked me up, brought me inside, and rewarded me with a fresh bowl of water, a few treats, and breakfast! .... yum, breakfast.
