Life with a Magic Scottie
My Beautiful BlondeJuly 24th 2010 9:06 am[ Leave A Comment ] Magic came from a puppy mill -- I didn't know until I got his papers in the mail. How such a sweet, healthy, loving boy could come from such a background I don't know, But I will always thank the lady who delivered him to Erie for me. She knew exactly what kind of Scottie I needed. He had a sibling. I asked for the one who would sit next to me and not be frantic when I wanted to hold him. Magic is more than my wildest dreams. I wish I could say all Scotties are full of kisses, affectionate, attention seeking, but this can be a very reserved breed. Outside his home, he IS reserved. People can pet him, but he doesn't seek their attention. He wants his Mommy and Daddy! After we lost An'GUS, I didn't think it would ever be possible to love another Scottie as profoundly. I discovered that I love all of my Scotties profoundly. But there is soooo much of An'GUS inside of my blonde boy, it's almost frightening. Magic has filled the void, but I forever carry An'GUS safely tucked in my heart. One day I will be with my An'GUS again. For now...I have Magic, who has truly lived up to the name I gave him.

My beautiful blonde boy -- you are more than I ever dreamed. Your beautiful, loving personality has made up for the profound loss of my An'GUS. So many ways you are like him, and yet so different in wonderful ways!!
