My husband hated dogs for years so I never asked for one then 12 years ago on Valentine's Day he went out for a toaster & came back with the toaster & the cutest little puppy. As he put her on the hallway floor both my daughter's & my jaws dropped to the floor. Needless to saw my kids & I were all shocked.
Bio:
I was the lone pup here for 6 years, then my Mom & Dad brought home another one like me Buffy Jo (Yorkshire Terrier/? mix - female - now age 7 1/2 years old). Almost a year later they let another dog, Princess (Cocker/Bichon mix - female - now age 7 1/2 years old) come to stay for awhile but quess what she never left. Then 4 years after that my skin sister Janet moved back home & brought my dog niece Selene (Newfoundland - female - now 2 1/2 years old) & my cat nephew Kittie (Maine Coon - male - now 4 years old). I'm still top dog around the house but, Kittie sure does try to beat me!

I was very sick yesterday I was running a fever of 104 & not eating & very lethargic. Mommy took me to the Emergency Vet they did blood work & x-rays they told mommy that I have pancreatitis & I also have kidney stones. They made me stay there all night & had mydaddy go get me this morning to my regular vet. Dr. Theresa told mommy when she came to pice me up this evening that I do have pancreatitis & that I have a kidney stone that is obstructing my kidney causing me to have kidney failure in that kidney. The hope it will move on it's own but that if it doesn't I will be ok at my age (I'll be 11 years old in a month) with only 1 functioning kidney. I'm not allowed to have anything to eat at all today only water (daddy didn't like this), tomorrow I can have small amounts of chicken & rice. I have a pill for my vomiting & I have to take an antibotic. Mommy or daddy has to call Dr. Theresa tomorrow afternoon & let her know how I am doing, depending on how I am will tell if I hav to go back tomorrow to see her.
