My beloved rescue weim Oliver passed away from bone cancer in July. A rescue contacted me about a 4 yo weim that they could not take. I didn't feel I was ready. When she went to the local shelter the next week, Beau was there and she sprung him. I volunteered at one of her adoption events and met Beau then. He came home with me for a trial sleepover, and needless to say the next week he moved in permanently
