Arrival Story:
Hi, My name is Hank. I am a American Pit Bull Terrier. I'm a bit on the small side for a APBT but I still have all the energy as one! My Dad and Mom got me from the Montgomery County Humane Society in Maryland where they both worked at. My Mom was one of the first people handle me when I was there. She made sure I was healthy, had no fleas, gave me my vaccines, and flea treatment just incase. I behaved very well for her. Then a few days after that my Dad had to work a double shift the next day and since he normally worked the last shift at night (2:30pm - 11:00pm) and lived pretty far from the shelter he decided he would just stay the night in his car. He decided to bring a dog in the car to sleep with him and that dog happened to be me! I snuggled with him all night. The next morning before everyone arrived for work at 7:00am, He snuck me back inside and put me back in my kennel. Mom had that day off and while Dad was working he found out that I was going to be put to sleep because I was "too aggressive". He told him that he wasn't going to let them do that to me and put his name on the paperwork to adopt me! I now have the best home. I love having Princess and Buddy for a brother and sister. I really miss Spike though, We played a lot when he was still here.
