June 24th 2010 / Annual Vet Visit.

Rudy gets very nervous & upset when he goes to the vets. Previously the vet gave us a "calming down" pill for Rudy for his visits. Well....I don't think those pills are strong enough anymore. LOL He still was very nervous and excited after taking his pill 2 hours previously.
Rudy now weighs 20 lbs 6 oz. The vet said she thinks he's "the biggest Yorkie she's ever seen." LOL She also said he could stand to loose a pound or two. Were trying to work on that by giving him less treats & Dogswell Shape Up Weight Management Chicken & Oats dog food. Plus adding green beans to his food.
Other than his weight and "excitable issues" (which he even has when someone comes to visit us) he's a good doggie.

Rudys lst Birthday

Today, April 2nd, 2007 was Rudys lst Birthday!! We celebrated after everyone got home from work. Rudy had a dog bone shaped Birthday Cake, which his new brother, Lucky, helped him eat. He also got two new stuffed toys. One is a Birthday Cake with candles on it and plays the "Happy Birthday" song. He loves that one. He's been playing with it ever since he got it. The other one is blue with a yellow ribbon Birthday present toy that squeaks.
Shh.... we didn't tell him cause it's his Birthday, but tomorrow night he goes for his lst class of Doggie Manners School. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one. He's so sweet.... but a handfull. I promise to let you all know how he did.
