His worst peeves now are getting his ears washed and teeth brushed. Favorite Toy: It was the flying squirrel until Valborg ruined it. Favorite Food: raw meat, spot's stew, any wet foods, dead baby birds Favorite Walk: anywhere Best Tricks: sit, down, stand...Well, actually Verlin is afraid of being trained (It really annoys me). Whenever I start to train the other dogs he runs and hides. He won't even eat the training treats because he associates them with training. Arrival Story: I bought him along with Valborg over the internet at www.rodspuppylovekennel.com. I had these two shipped together from Missouri I think maybe 5 or 6 months after Vlad passed away. I really like the pups at that place. I had them specially arrange a flight for these two guys since the Transpet shipping company I did not find trust worthy any longer after the HUGE mistake they made with my beloved Vlad. Bio: Verlin is a very sensitive pup. He's usually quiet and sweet but he'll get rowdy and start prancing around 'dancing' I call it. He likes to lay on top of Valborg when they sleep on the furniture together. Funny thing is, I think Valborg likes it too! Or at least isn't bothered by it. He is really smart. I think he's the smartest out of all three (even though the others learn very fast as well) I noticed Verlin actually learns THROUGH the other dogs. I noticed that with learning to shake I started him on it once but stopped before he caught on, then didn't teach him for a few months and only taught the other dogs (because i figured Verlin didn't like being trained) well I tried asking Verlin to shake after training the other dogs in front of him for a while and he did it! Well its kind of ironic. Today just as Mandee was telling Eros, (her boyfriend), about moving this plastic garbage bag of toilet tissue off of a chair I jumped right up there with that garbage bag on the chair. Well, I tried to anyway. However, I slipped off the bag and banged sideways into the dogloo that was right on the floor next to it. It was so cute and pathetic that Mandee and Eros laughed really hard. I didn't care though, I was so excited to go on the walk we were about to go on.
