 Quick Bio:
Likes: Chasing birds on the beach, walks, love, playing w/other dogs, food, tug, a/c & laying outside at night

Pet-Peeves: Life without Lana, being too hot, dry dog food with no "extras", crackers

Favorite Toy: Turkey that says "gobble gobble gobble", anteater, hedgehog & octopus...anything plush

Favorite Food: More. More food. All food. Any food. Except plain dry dog food.

Favorite Walk: Beach, park, neighborhood...city, country...anywhere anytime...

Best Tricks: Getting his huge bottom up into the back of the car. Being strong enough not to chase cats anymore.

Arrival Story: He was dropped off as a stray at my sister's vet clinic. She invited me out "to just hang out...we have some nice dogs staying here..." Just one look was all it took. It took Lana about a year to stop looking at us like "throw him in the river" -- but then their love bloomed. Great pair of pets!

Bio: Jenkins is so wonderful. He is not into sweating the small stuff. He's almost always happy & ready for anything. Since Lana died he has been kinda down (like us) and stays with us always.
He's truly an example of the ideal soldier-poet -- the heart of a lion & the soul of an artist. Wrapped in more fur than you can imagine!
Jenkins passed away on July 14, 2009. He was a perfect dog, a wonderful soul, and we are thankful that he was part of our family. We will love him and miss him forever.
