Arrival Story:
Ella was pulled out of a HIGH KILL Shelter, our local pound. She was mislabled as a Rhodesian/X, when in fact she is a Southern Black Mouth Cur, all BMC's and Bullies are euthanized in this shelter.
Before they correctly identified this girl, I pulled her quickly.
Now she is looking for a home to call her own. She is being fostered until we can find her the RIGHT home. One where she will be loved, respected and taken care of.

Bio:
Ella is 3 yrs 6 mo old, 74.6lbs, non aggressive, heartworm negative, on preventative,up to date on shots and spayed, is microchiped. Crate and leash trained. House trained.
Affectionate. Loves children, water, playing, tracking and hicking in the woods. Loves toys, stuffies ( Stuffie killer), squeakies. Wants to be around human contact all the time. Loves people. Is loving and happy. Very calm. Good with other dogs and little dogs. Very curious about cats. Has a tendency to chase them. Knows commands and phrases. Awesome dog.
I'm Adopted... I have a family.. I'm so happy.

Happy belated Birthday sweet one! I miss you more than life it'self, I know you are loved and well taken care of where you are. But I cannot help wonder if you still remember me like I remember you, miss you as much as I do. A human could NOT ask for a better companion, friend and protector as you are.

I got an email from your forever home. I just wanted to say Ellie Mae, YES you make me PROUD.
Her new family said she played with their grandchildren like she knew them all her life. How wonderfully obedient she was. How sweet, loving and just a little bit timmed. Just give it time... Then you'll be calling me and saying what happened to the easy going dog????
It has only been a week and four days.. give it time... Oh boy... I know you can do it Ellie Mae... Stay with what your foster momma taught you girl! Remember!!!
I still miss you as does Dilly dog. You taught him well, things that his human mom couldn't, but you can and did. Thank you sweetheart! Do I make you proud? Yes you do Ellie Mae B.
