Mommy had a bad day!!

Mommy's day started out okay until she took me and Macie for a walk. We stopped and chatted with a neighbor before continuing on our walk. We like Sharon our neighbor.

Then Macie got a chunk of cactus stuck on her face and Mommy was trying to get the cactus off while holding on to my leash and Macie's. Not an easy thing to do and Mommy got poked in the hand from the cactus needles. Thank goodness Macie was okay, just Mommy ended up with needles on her hand. While Mommy was doing this her cell phone that was in her pocket rang. It was Daddy, but Mommy could not hold our leashes, pick cactus out of Macie's face and answer the phone at the same time.

Finally we started on our walk again and all was well. While we walked Mommy called Daddy back. Silly Mommy did not pay attention and next thing you know she fell off the curb while talking to Daddy and holding our leashes. She managed to stay on two feet though!

We continued our walk and headed towards home. When we got closer to home Mommy let me off the leash, because she knows I will stay with her. Silly Mommy!! Our other neighbors decided to go somewhere in their car at about that time. I wanted to go say hi. Poor Mommy was waving her hands all over the place to get Diane and Ed to stop. They did and I was fine - I was just going to go say hi, but it worried Mommy that they would not see me.

Once again we continued down the hill toward the house. Macie and I got really excited and we were going fast because we would get a treat when we got home. Mommy went so fast her cell phone fell out of her pocket and bounced on the driveway. Once agani Mommy was lucky - her cell phone still worked and was in good shape.

Needless to say Mommy did not take us for another walk today.........

Mommy is blackmailing me!!

Mommy and daddy have been trying to teach me not to put my nose in the sticky bug catcher that the pest control man leaves in the corner of the garage. The first time I did it I was about 4 months old and I got the box with the sticky stuff inside stuck on my face. Mommy and daddy had to trim my mustache to get the box off my face. I must have a short memory because I tried it again a couple of days later, but mommy caught me before it totally stuck to my face.

Yesterday mommy found me in the garage and guess what - you got it - I was wearing the newest bug catcher on my face again. To make matters worse mommy went and got her camera and took a picture before she would help me get it off. I think she is going to blackmail me and put the picture on Dogster.com. How will I ever live this down? I am now almost 6 months old and you would think I would have learned by now to leave those boxes alone.

Puppy School Homework

I have been going to puppy school at Petsmart for 4 weeks. Each week Mommy learns something new and we come home and try out the newest lesson. On Friday Mommy learned how to loose leash walk me. Sounds easy on paper, however my version of loose leash walking is much different than puppy school. I am suppose to learn how not to pull at my leash. Mommy stops when I do so and then when I stop and look at her she is suppose to give me a treat. Guess who figured out how to get more treats?? Mommy gives me my treat and then we begin our walk again until I get to the end of my leash and pull again. Today I got a lot of treats. Do you think Mommy figured out what I was doing?? :)
