My day 9/26/06

I was a busy boy today. My human went to the post office and while she was gone I helped myself to the trash. Normally she would leave the trash behind a closed door, but she forgot. There were paper plates, napkins and many other things scattered about the floor. I broke the lid to the trash can. My human will in the future REMEMBER to put the trash where I can't get to it! I just did not understand why I shouldn't be allowed to eat things that smell so wonderful.

guess what??? it is snowing today! but it is too cold to go out and play. my person said that 5* is not warm enough for anydoggy to spend very much time outside and that is ok with me because i prefer the sun and the warmth that it brings. -wake me up when its april or may- just joking!
my person thinks that i am such a good doggy because my 5 year old girl is sick and i will not leave her side today. she is so sad because she can't go to kindergarten today, but i will make it ok because i am going to cuddle with her and keep her warm. i will even let remington sleep with us. i like that cat:) kodi is close by too. hard to tell where stripes is. i think he may be sleeping in the linen closet again.
the other day my persons sister came by. i like her, but she said i looked a bit rotund! i don't know what that funny word means, but my person said that i look very nice and 140 pounds is just right for me. my tail on the other hand can clear a coffee in one swipe and can be quite a painful thing, but my people love me anyway.
well, i have to be going for now. it is time to take a nap with my girl. have a good day and stay warm where ever you may be and if it is sunny where you are enjoy it for us! -milligan:)

Beautiful Frisbee~~~~~~~

I was so excited the other day! She came home from Petsmart with a FRISBEE!!!! I took it right out into the backyard and chased it for a while. I don't like it when it tries to get away from me! She has a trick to get me to let go. She picks up my tennis ball and for a brief moment I forget what I am doing and let go of my frisbee, then she picks it up and throws it again. When she did this yesterday the wind was against her and my beautiful frisbee flew into the neighbor's yard. The person was not home and the fence is to tall for her to climb so we have not been able to get my frisbee back yet:( She will go and buy a new frisbee tomorrow if we can't get my other one. What a life!
