What a difference a day makes. One minute I was running around with my brothers and sisters in a big field in Temecula. Next thing I know, I was loaded into a red truck and we went for a LONG ride up to Northern California. We stopped a few times along the way so I could stretch my legs. I saw a couple rabbits at the rest stops, but this new guy had a leash attached to my neck and wouldn't let me run after the rabbit. Shoot, I hope this new relationship works out!

We arrived at the new house at 3am on Sunday morning. "Dad" let me into the backyard and then my new "Mom" came out to give me a hug! Then I met my new big brother, Zeus. WOW! What a big dog! I was so scared, I tucked my tail between my legs and went to hide behind the sofa. It took Dad 10 minutes to get me out of there. Zeus is really a big boy at 130 lbs. I don't think that I've seen a German Shepherd that large.

Mom picked me up and let me sleep with her on the bed. Zeus whined and screamed for the next couple of hours, so Mom left me to sleep with Dad and she took Zeus out for a ride in the Jeep and some shopping. Wow, that bed is comfy!! Certainly beats sleeping in the barn with the rest of the dogs and farm animals. I think I could get used to this...
