Arrival Story:
We got him from the dobie rescue in Filmore, CA. We had a different doberman, Toby, who had passed away recently, and we missed having him around. We needed a new companion. When we first got Rambo, they told us he was house broken. We brought him home, and every night for a week, he went in the house. My husband got really upset and said that we needed to take him back to the rescue place. When he went to work, I called the lady who had turned Rambo in to the rescue place and got this story. Every so often Rambo would come by her house and beg for food. She would feed him and send him on his way. This went on for awhile, and he was getting skinnier and skinner. Finally, she went to return him to his owners, only to find that they had moved and left him in the streets to fend for himself. She took him in, brought him back to health, then because she could not keep him, took him to the doby rescue place.

Bio:
Rambo is the sweetest dog ever. His previous experience did not sour him towards people. He is a wonderful dog and a joy to be around. He loves to play, and especially loves to go for rides in the car. He has his own bedroom, and when we quit petting him at night, he gets down and goes to his own room.
