Hello all!

2 Years later...

Oh my goodness, it's been 2 years since my last entry.
Hmmm - my life is completely different now. I was such a lazy dog back then.

Well, I now have a sister, Phoebe. I like her a lot, and I like that she completely worships me. She loves me to death - which is great. I am very protective of her because she's smaller than I am, so I don't like it when other dogs try to bully her.

I still like to sleep in, but my sister loves getting up - so we get up at 6. No more sleeping in after dad's alarm! We get up and right away my mom takes us jogging. Jogging = barf for me. Everyone else likes it a lot, so I go along with it. I like it more in the winter.

Then we get home and I get to eat - yum yum. Since my sister is pig, I have to eat fast - otherwise, she'll try to eat my food too! Then Phoebe and I play for a while. We can get pretty loud, so my mom has to shush us. After that, we're pretty much wiped out and we sleep for the rest of the day.

When my mom leaves, she gives us kongs with peanut butter (yum!). I'll sleep until my mom comes home - hooray! Phoebe is even more excited to see my mom - she has to be in a crate. Phoebe hates her crate, but mom and dad are working on it with her.

In the afternoon we either go swimming, to the park, or around the neighborhood. It's pretty hot, so I only like to go swimming. Phoebe likes to swim too, although she's too fast. I don't like it.

At night, we just chill. Sometimes Phoebe will make me play with her again but mostly, we just chill. At bed time, we all climb into bed with mom and dad. Phoebe and I take turns sleeping in the middle (the best spot!). The other dog has to sleep at the bottom of the bed by themselves. I like to sleep in the middle on my back with my feet up in the air. My mom says I look cute that way.

Okay off to sleep!

Hello All!

Since Rosie can't type, she asked me (her mom) to write some things for her. She wants to say hello to all of the other dogs on dogster. She is actually trying to find some of her dog park buddies, so if you're a dog park regular - send us a message.

Rosie says, "A typical day for me is waking up to my dad's alarm. I then have to wait until my mom gets up. Sometimes I have to help her get up with a few licks or a paw to the face! I get to go for a 2 block walk to the post office, and then it's back to bed. My mom tries to make me eat, but I am just too tired. I will bug her for cookies though. I pretty much sleep all day - except when I'm chasing my brothers. I have two kitty brothers, and they are annoy-ing! My dad gets home first, but I'm too tired to get up to see him. I usually don't get off the couch until my mom gets home because I know it's almost time to go to the park. I run as much and as fast as I can at the park. I have a bunch of friends that I like to play with. In the evenings, I eat and lay on the couch with my mom. She rubs my belly while she watches tv. Sometimes we'll play with the ball after dinner. Then it's up to bed - I 'll usually take a toy with me to chew on. Around 11, I'm ready for the sack. I jump in bed, between my mom and dad, and I'm out for the night."
