Arrival Story:
As you can see he is the brother of Nala. He died from Parvo (YUK!!!) at age 3 months. He came into contact with a stray dog's feces in between his 2nd & 3rd shot. When he contracted the Parvo it was a Wednesday night (I remember like it was yesterday). He didn't want to eat, so then we knew something was wrong. By that morning he started to have the classic symptoms. I had to work that day, so my husband took him to the vet. They placed him IV's for that day and gave him a bolus to come home with. By the time I got home at 8 pm he was almost gone. He stayed with me for another hour and then he was gone. It felt like he waited for me!! I don't know it's like he knew his Mommy was home and everything was going to be OK. I just held him and told him to rest and go on to a more beutiful place and one day in the future I will be able to play with him since he will forever be my little pup! I love and miss you my Bruiser boy!!! I will see you again someday!!:(
