Our bunny had died when I was 2 and so my parents let us call a newspaper ad about Beau because they knew he would be gone. An elderly couple was going to take him but when they heard our sad story about our bunny dying they let us have him, it's been almost 14 years with him, he's almost 16 and still going.

Unfortunately, Beau has not been doing so well. Being a dog around the age of 17/18, he's been on his last leg for a while.

Today (November 19th, 2008) we decided to put Beau down so that he wouldn't have to suffer any longer.

He will be unbelievably missed, without a doubt. And our Thanksgiving will definitely not be complete without him.

I miss him already.
