Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 8th 2003
Likes: HAVE FUN. Tug-o-war with TJ, chasing the birds, hurtling up and down the stairs and curling up next to mum at night. Shaking 'Spider' to death!

Pet-Peeves: Not being able to sample the postman! Gets annoyed when mum shakes a mat out. The doorbell is a no-no! She can't bear the sound of crackers on guy fawkes night and hides under the sofa.

Favorite Toy: She loves most of her toys - squeaky bone, rope, ball were her favourites but, of course, now it's Spider; he goes where she goes.

Favorite Food: Chicken, rice, pasta, veg, apple, beef mince, garlic (anything mum's eating)

Favorite Walk: Around the village. She's well behaved on a leash.

Best Tricks: 'Speaking' for her food, doing a turn and sitting for her treat. Gives paw too. If you don't pay attention to her she pokes her nose against the back of your legs. Lets me know if she's in a hurry to 'go'.

Arrival Story: When her human mum passed away, Sox was sent to the RSPCA - It was pouring with rain the day I first saw her. There she sat, all wet and scraggly - like a little statue. I just knew I had to take her. She's tenacious, a daring little rascal and a honey all in one - a really crazy pooch.

Forums Motto: Getting my own way - any which way.

I was lost! Yes! Can you believe it … Moi was lost!
It all started at ‘carrot time,’ when Mum hollered to us to come and fetch our tidbit. As per usual my furbro, TJ (aka as Hoover) was first in line, and then came my two fursisters, Jodie and Jeanie. Mum called a second time, 'Sox!' But again me no go fetch. Mum called a third time and still me no fetch. Dad was outside so she went to ask him if he’d seen me. Nope, he hadn’t seen me; said he’d been outside the front of the house by the cars but had made sure the front door had been closed. Could I have somehow escaped???? Oh No! There was a mad rush to the front of the house, much calling and whistling but still no me. While Dad checked the back garden again, Mum rushed through the house checking every room, calling and whistling but alas, still no me.
Well, by this time mum was almost in tears. ‘Don’t worry,’ said Dad, 'I’ll take the car and search the streets.' So, clad in tracksuit pants, jersey and slippers he hopped into the Jag and took off! Mum ran to our next door neighbour … ‘Have you seen Sox?’ she cried. Nope! In desperation Mum ran back in the house, checked downstairs and then upstairs again. THEN, she remembered she’d been in the spare/junk room at the back of the house to fetch some paper. She rushed there, opened the door and tadaaaaa, there I was sitting patiently waiting for her to find me. ‘Jees, Sox’ said Mum, ‘why the devil didn’t you answer me when I called you?!!!’ (You see I generally yelp when I’m accidently locked out or in) but this time I thought I’d show the old girl how brave I am and just sit it out … the silly woman should have known that I’d followed her into the room, I mean I follow her everywhere! Well, luckily I was found and now mum had to locate Dad. Off she went running down the road and luckily, spotted him. After much jumping up and down and arm-waving (like she can do PE ha-ha) she caught his attention and waved him home.
So, dear friends, after all the drama I finally got my slice of carrot ... oh, and lotsa hugs too.
Ciao for now.
Soxie.

Wowee, when I woke up this morning, Mum told me I'd won 2nd place in the Dog Park USA Outdoor competition. Isn't that wonderful?
She's so proud of me she promised I'd get a special treat with my din-dins later today. Can hardly wait!
Thank you Dog Park USA!!!
