I stood up tonight!

Dear Diary:

I actually stood up on my own 4 legs tonight! It was only for a few seconds, but it has been over 4 years since I took a step. Maybe my dream WILL come true soon! Maybe I will walk again soon!

I love grass!

Dear Diary:

Our Daddy built a new cage outside so we can go out and enjoy the sunshine every day. It has a ramp so that Johanna and I can even go out too!

I love to go down the ramp and lay in the grass. It is so nice and cool and fluffy. I can even roll around in it and get nice and dirty!

Pork Chop's snow day

Dear Diary:

It snowed today, so I got to play in the snow. Now, a little snow is really fun, but too much snow is tough to deal with. My wheels on my cart stopped spinning, so I had to slide around in the snow. It was still fun!

Daddy took me out after he took Johanna out. I had a fun time, but it is really cold! He took some nice pictures of me with snow falling on my face. I even got to eat some snow. It isn't really tasty, but it is fun! Hey, just because I can't walk and use a wheelchair doesn't mean that I can't go outside and play in the snow. I can do anything that any dog on 4 legs can do!

After a few minutes, I went back inside to sleep on my blanket in front of the heater. I was wet and cold, so a nice nap was perfect. What a fun day!

A little scare

Dear Diary:

I had a tough day yesterday. I was in my cart all day and when I was going back to my crate my left leg was swollen pretty bad. That made everybody scared here, including me. Well, I got a bath and a massage, and soon my leg was back to normal. I don't know what happened, but I am doing OK now.

We had a fun trip to New Jersey just a couple of weeks ago. I got to meet lots of nice people and I got to sniff lots of really cool stuff. We also got to play outside a lot, it was really warm there. It is much colder here at home, but that's OK. As long as I have my warm blanket I am feeling good.

Dear Diary:

I can't believe it's Christmas again! It seems like only last year... Oh, wait, it was just last year!

I have a ton to be thankful for this year. My family formally adopted me- YAY!!

I have a big house with lots to do and lots of toys to play with. I have 5 brothers and a sister to play with too. But I do have one Christmas wish this year. It is a very special wish, and maybe if I believe, it will come true.

I wish that my legs would start working again so I can run and play on 4 legs. I would love to lose my cart, and I want to play with Kebo and Riley and Willy. If I wish REALLY hard, maybe it WILL come true!

My Birthday!

Dear Diary:

Today I am 7 years old. Now, I don't feel older, but I guess I should. I don't know what will happen different today from any other day, but I hope I get some yummy food to eat today.

Today is also my daddy's birthday, so today is a very special day. It is our day!

We've Moved

Dear Diary:

We are all moved into our new house. It is really cool! We have our own room upstairs in this house. It is full of toys and nice soft pillows and blankets. There is dachshund stuff all over the walls in there too. Johanna and I really love it!
