Arrival Story:
She was the pick of the litter, but her first guardian had to return her because she wasn't ready for a puppy. When we saw her, she was teasing a little shih-tzu by chasing and grabbing its tail. Her daddy had to have her.
Bio:
When she was 5 mos old, she collapsed on the patio and stopped breathing. Her daddy gave her CPR, the emergency vet couldn't figure out what happened. We knew she was alright when we were in the waiting room and we could hear her tail THUMP- THUMP-ing in her cage. Years later we determined she had epilepsy, and she has had a few seizures since. We calm her and stay by her side and she pulls through every time.
On February 21 at ten years old, she went over the Rainbow Bridge. She is now out of pain and can run and frolic with her sister Zelda and human cousin Aubrey.
