I've Been On Dogster Since:
Well, I've been in my new home for just over three weeks now, and am settling in pretty well! I've gone from 8.5 lbs to 9.6 lbs since moving in with my new people. I had a little worm problem (i'm told even expensive frou-frou purebred puppies can get them), but we got that cleared right up!
Now we're tackling a bit of a mite problem that's wearing away at a little patch of fur on my head. The medicine tastes very yucky, but my people promise that it'll only be for a little while, and it'll stop all that annoying itching!
All in all, though, I have to say I'm doing pretty well, especially since that just a few short months ago, I was "living" dog-knows-where on the gulf coast of Mississippi. I was definitely the little guy in my litter, and had a lot of competition for food, attention, etc. My new people make sure I get plenty of food (and even more attention) every day, and I don't even have to worry about any other doggies pushing me out of the way for it! (Hence the weight gain, I think.)
