Arrival Story:
We found an ad in the paper and went to visit his family on a farm. We fell in love with him the first day and went back to pick him up the next day. Every since we've had him he's been such a loveable dog and learns very quickly and is a great dog to have around. I would defintely recommend anyone to get a Red Heeler, they are very smart dogs and have a very strong bond for their owners.

He is a very smart breed of dog. Red Heelers are bred for their herding talents. Hinder's mommy was a herding dog on a farm. The farmer said that he had never taught any of the skills to the dog, she just picked up on it, from being a Red Heeler. They are very smart dogs and make loveable companions.

The Tale of Zeppelin

The new puppy came over yesterday. He's a lot of fun. Since my name happens to be a band name we decided to name the puppy Zeppelin. We call him Zeppy for short. We took a long walk today and the puppy is soo silly, he's not really sure how to walk on a leash. So I was the star pupil today and showed the puppy how to walk proper. The kitty and the puppy get along ok, but she's the attitude of the house so you never know with her. :) I like to play outside with the puppy and he chases me but can't keep up because he has short stubby legs. Well back to more playing and mommy will post pictures soon!

So we are getting the puppy soon! and I'm very excited. It's going to be tough work because the puppy still needs to be potty trained and it needs a lot more training but I won't be lonely when everyone leaves for work. Also right now is a crazy time in the house because we are moving in 2 months out to Washington State and the house is being reorganized and we are getting rid of a lot of things. The kitty is being a pain in my tail right now because she keeps peeing everywhere and she won't leave me alone. She's always pouncing on me and biting my ears and eyes. Maybe when we get the pup we can gang up on the cat and take her down! BOL!
